Keeping One Tree Bridge Open for the Manjimup Community

The Project

A routine inspection by Main Roads WA uncovered serious deterioration on the historic One Tree Bridge — putting it at risk of closure. Asset Worx was engaged to deliver an emergency solution that would stabilise the structure fast while keeping the road network moving.

Working alongside BG&E Engineers, the Shire of Manjimup, Main Roads WA and our dive team, we designed an innovative propping methodology that avoided pontoons or riverbed support, reduced safety risks and saved a week on the program.

Our team safely installed a custom steel-beam support system, enabling full structural repairs without shutting down the bridge.
